Editor’s note: A recent post in ‘The African-American Athlete’ sports blog has caused quite a debate regarding the epic, 1988 NBA Dunk Contest between Michael Jordan and Dominique Wilkins.
Jordan won the showdown, which took place in Chicago. Of course, some feel being in the Windy City gave Jordan the homecourt advantage with the judges. On the flip side, Jordan fans feel MJ won it straight up.
