Comedy legend Chris Thomas and Bishop Frank McDuffie, of historic Laurinburg (NC) Institute were guests on the latest edition of ‘In And Out Of Sports,’ hosted by D.C. talk show legend Butch McAdams.
Thomas, who hosted BET’s Rap City, where he was affectionately known as the ‘Mayor,’ discussed his career as a voice impersonator and comedian.
Bishop McDuffie is the president of Laurinburg Institute, located in Laurinburg, N.C.
The school has educated young black students since 1904. Basketball Hall of Famers Charlie Scott and Sam Jonesand tumpet legend Dizzy Gillepsie are just a few of its esteemed alumni.
Bishop McDuffie discussed Laurinburg’s ongoing mission of educating and empowering students in the 21st century.
