Floyd’s Greatest Achievements Could Come Out Of The Ring, But Only If He Wants It To Be

Floyd Mayweather. We get it, bruh. We really do.

No need  to post any more videos of you tossing money around as several, scantily attired women in bathing suits twerk their asses off.  (The video recently posted by Mayweather and the women is available on You Tube).

We understand you got more money than you will ever know what to do with, and tossing it away in a video with women is something you would like for us to see.

But, Floyd, you do understand that really isn’t so impressive? You do know the women  are doing this simply because you are paying them, right?  And, you do know that damn near anyone who has as much money as you do could get women to do the same damn thing, right?

So, it’s not your looks, not your charm, and not your swag, that is making it rain women.   It’s your money.   So, what you are really doing isn’t that special, bruh.

And, seriously,  isn’t that getting a little old? If you go to You Tube there are several videos of you tossing cash with women.  Bruh, we understand that you are paid in full.  You don’t have to show us your cars, your crib, your links, your women, or  anything else. We get it.

Let me remind you that it is not your money that has made you special.  It was what you did in the ring.  You were  brilliant boxer.  You forged masterful, 49-0 record in your career.  You are one of boxing’s great champions.  You  have come as close as anyone to mastering the ‘Sweet Science.’ You practically perfected the ability to hit, and not be hit.

That, Floyd, is what made you special. It made you millions, made you loved, and even made you hated.

However, please understand that  all the money in the word doesn’t buy you respect. Respect is a priceless commondity.

Really, you can spend your money like you want. You can release another 100 videos. Hell, you can make a movie of you and women twerking while you toss money around. After all, it is your money, and you earned it.

I just believe you have more to offer in retirement than videos of you and a group of half-naked women.  It would  good to  see something substantive from you.

Did you check out what the football players at Missouri did the other day, standing up to racism?  Did you see where LeBron James is pledging to help young people go to college?  Have you been checking out any of the work of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar lately?

And, by the way, I know of your charitable work, especially in Grand Rapids, Mi., your hometown. You are a man with a good heart.

But it  would be great  to hear your voice.  You have a platform, and the ability to lead and inspire others.   If you want it to be, your greatest accomplishments in life could come out of the boxing ring.   Or, you can can keep doing the twerking videos with the ladies. Really, you don’t owe anyone anything.

It is your choice, Champ.
