Radio legend Willie ‘Moonman’ Bacote was the featured guest on the latest edition of ‘In And Out Of Sports’, hosted by D.C. talk show legend Butch McAdams.
Bacote was one of the country’s premier DJ’s in the height of soul music radio in the ’60s and ’70s. His shows drew large audiences markets like Detroit, Philadelphia, Memphis, and Washington, D.C. He also hosted a television show and still does radio in the DMV.
Ray and Butch discussed his career and his friendships with music icons such as James Brown and Otis Redding.
