Practically every fan of the National Football League knows of Pittsburgh Steelers legend, Mean Joe Greene. The Hall of Fame defensive tackle was the mainstay on four Super Bowl championship teams in the Steel City. But how many fans know of Tommy Okon? The two teamed up in 1979 to create one of the greatest sports commercials ever.
Recently, Greene and Okon reunited, 40 years after their history making commercial. They have made a new commercial that will air on February 7, 2016 for Super Bowl 50.
The commercial is an incredible, heartfelt spot. As Mean Joe limps to the locker room with an injury, he walks by a kid (played by 9-year-old Okon). Well, you know how it goes from there:
