The African-American Athlete has reached a significant milestone. We recently reached the 10,000 ‘Like’ mark on our Facebook page.
It is with great humility that I say, “thank you,” to all of you who continue to read our content, share our content with your friends, and, most importantly, voice your opinions about the topics.
The goal of The African-American Athlete is to continue to celebrate the accomplishments of black athletes, and address the issues of the black community, and beyond.
And, while some of our critics think a site like this is racist, and fostering separatism, nothing could be further from the truth.
Because we choose to celebrate the accomplishments of our community, does not mean we are against any other community.
Since the very beginning, The African-American Athlete site is open to all visitors. And, all opinions are welcomed.
