The legacy of Herb Adderley, the Hall of Fame cornerback and six-time World Champion, was celebrated on the latest edition of ‘In And Out Of Sports’, hosted by D.C. talk show legend Butch McAdams.
Butch was joined by Mr. Adderley’s daughter, Toni, and cousin, Ky Adderley, as they took part in a wide-ranging interview that included Mr. Adderley’s days at Michigan State, where he was a star athlete on the field, and a stellar student off of it. Mr. Adderley is one of the charter members of the Omega Psi Phi fraternity chapter at Michigan State.
They also discussed Adderley’s brilliant NFL career that included five championships in Green Bay, and one in Dallas. Mr. Adderley passed away on Oct. 30th at 81. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1980.
