D.C. basketball legend Bernard ‘Ducky’ Vaughn stopped by to visit on the latest edition of ‘In And Out Of Sports’ hosted by D.C. talk show legend Butch McAdams.
The 5-foot-8 Vaughn turned down several scholarships offers to attend Cornell University. Vaughn said he welcomed the challenge of Cornell’s rigorous academic standards and also being an athlete.
After graduating from Cornell Vaughn played professionally in the Continental Basketball League. Vaughn is still active today in the D.C. area working with young people teaching basketball and life skills.
