‘Containment’ Jab at Obama Won’t Be a Knock-out For Republicans

If you look objectively, there is absolutely no comparison in the legacies of President Bush and President Obama.

Really, it is pitiful to hear Republicans taking jabs at  President Obama’s statement last week that ISIL is ‘contained’, due to the terrorist attacks that broke off in Paris a few days later.

Now,  using the word ‘contained’ in relationship to  terrorism is something I would not do.  I say that because terrorism is a tactic that people with certain ideologies resort to.  Ideologies contrary to ours and despicable in our view are always going to exist.

You cannot contain an  ideology.  Ideologies, by virtue of how they are shared, will continue to live for generations. So, until you change the hearts and minds of a people offering some alternative view, they are going to continue to believe in their ideology. So, expect our enemies to continue the fight.

However, back to the republicans and this garbage about containment. Do they not realize that Obama’s predecessor, George W. Bush, took us into war under false pretenses, costing us the lives of thousands? And it was Bush’s intervention in the middle east that created the foundation for ISIL?

It was the trolleys loaded with literally millions in cash and arms that was given to the sheikhs, and tribal leaders to get them to fight Al Qaeda, that funded and armed those with the very ideologies that are ISIL.

Bush  is the guy who stood on an Aircraft carrier, in his fighter gear, and underneath a “Mission Accomplished’ banner and told us the war was over.

That was in 2003.

Oh yeah, and Bush is the person who allowed Bin Laden to pull off a successful attack on 9-11,despite receiving a memo telling him Bin Laden Determine to Strike in the USA. So, don’t step to me with that weak stuff about what President Obama hasn’t contained. There are undoubtedly a lot of people in the republican party buying the Kool-Aid y’all are selling, but a lot of us see what the truth is.

It is time to cut the partisan party B.S., and start working together.   In case  you haven’t  noticed, the enemy is trying to kill ALL of us.  And they don’t give a damn about out political affiliations.   All they care about is we are Americans. It is time we start acting like true Americans.
