Joe Wootten, the son of legendary DeMatha High School basketball coach Morgan Wootten, and the current head coach at Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington, Va., was the guest on the latest edition of ‘In And Out Of Sports’ hosted by D.C. talk show legend Butch McAdams.
Wootten and Butch talked about Morgan’s great legacy at DeMatha and some of the great teams to come out of the school, located in Hyattsville, Maryland.
Joe discussed playing for his dad in high school and what inspired him to follow in his father’s footsteps as a high school coach.
