Franklin Edwards, a member of the storied 1983 Philadelphia 76ers world championship team, was the featured guest on ‘In And Out Of Sports’ hosted by D.C. talk show legend Butch McAdams.
Edwards honed his game as a kid on the playgrounds of basketball rich Harlem, N.Y., and played collegiately at Cleveland State University. Edwards was the No. 22 pick in the first round of the 1981 NBA draft by the Sixers.
Edwards talked about his time in the NBA (1981-1988) and the vaunted Sixers team that included Julius Erving, Moses Malone, Mo Cheeks and, Andrew Toney.
