One of the best moments of the NBA Finals occurred after Game 7, when Golden State’s Draymond Green, made his way through the sea of people on the floor celebrating Cleveland’s improbable NBA championship, to find LeBron James.
The two men had waged war with each other for six of the seven games. Of course, the reason it was only six games is Green was suspended for a game for an altercation with James in Game 4.
But all of that was behind them now. The competition was over, and this time it was the Cavs who claimed victory. Linked is a recap of the Game 4 altercation, and Green and James embarce
Green gave James a big bear hug, and they spoke briefly. Almost all of the conversation is inaudible, but Green can be heard saying ‘Much respect’ to James, as they parted ways.
It was fabulous sight, for two men who although on opposing teams, are kindred spirits of sorts.
They each play with relentless desire, and they are loved and despised by many.
They are also two players that every NBA fan would want on their team
