Former North Carolina Tarheel star Bobby Lewis and Vic Thomas, a member of the 1970 St. Bonaventure Final Four team were the guests on ‘In And Out Of Sports,’ hosted by DC. talk show legend Butch McAdams.
Lewis discussed his high school career at St. John’s High School in D.C. where he was a prolific scorer and his days at UNC playing for a young coach named Dean Smith, who was in danger of losing his job as the Tarheels coach.
Thomas talked about playing high school ball at Mackin with the great Austin Carr, and the rivalry with DeMatha High School. He also discussed the St. Bonaventure team, and the great run to the 1970 Final Four.
