If you happened to miss Tuesday’s edition of The African-American Athlete talk show on Talk2Mesports radio network it was a great show. Host Rickey Hampton, and his guest host, Daryl Bell, the esteemed Philadelphia Tribune columnist, who was sitting in for Brian Ransom, were joined by NFL veterans Larry Lee and Jerry Ball.
Lee played 10 seasons for the Lions, Broncos, and Dolphins, was also one of the first African-American Vice-Presidents in the NFL, during his stint as the Lions’ V-P. Ball is a former All-Pro nose tackle, who played 13 years in the NFL. The two men gave listeners an inside look at the business of the NFL, including their thoughts on the movie ‘Concussion’.
