In case you missed Tuesday’s (10/20) interview on the ‘African-American Athlete’ radio show on Talk2Mesports with Joe ‘747’ Adams, the former NCAA record-setting quarterback from Tennessee State University (1977-80), and a member of the San Francisco 49er, we have it posted below.
Adams joined hosts Brian Ransom (former NFL quarterback and sport agent) and Rickey Hampton, (editor of the African-American Athlete sports blog) to discuss his career, and his nomination as a finalist in the Black College Football Hall of Fame. Brian and Joe also had a very insightful conversation about the art of playing quarterback, and how intricate subtlties that go into playing the position. We began the conversation talking about the MVP year Carolina’s Cam Newton is having, and then transition to Adams. The African-American Athlete radio show is aired every Tuesday at 9-10 EST.
