Shannon Sharpe was a Hall of Fame tight end during his 14-year career in the National Football League. But the former Savannah State University football player is making just a big of an impact in his post-football career as a commentator.

This commentary by Sharpe during the height of the Colin Kaepernick controversy a couple of years ago is simply epic, and timeless. Sharpe points out what is obvious to black people every day, whether you are trying to grill in a park in Oakland, or sit in a Starbucks. You can’t escape being black.
