Struggling 49ers Bench Kaepernick At Quarterback

According to reports, the struggling San Francisco 49ers (2–5) have decided to bench quarterback Colin Kaepernick in favor of Baline Gabbert. The move comes after the 49ers lost 27-6 to the St. Louis Rams. It is a tremendous fall for Kaepernick, who nearly led the 49ers to a Super Bowl victory against Baltimore three years ago. However, as the 49ers team began to fade around him, so did his level of play. Kaepernick has  completed  59.3 percent of his passes for 1,615 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions.
