So, now there is actual footage of Serena Williams chasing down a cellphone thief the other day. A video released shows tennis’ greatest player jumping into action when she noticed that a man had pilfered her cell phone.
The dude clearly picked the wrong person to try and rip off.
In addition to being a beast at tennis, Serena is steeped in street smarts. You don’t grow up in Compton, Calif. and not know your way around and understand how to handle yourself in practically any kind of situation. That is a valuable life skill people from inner cities around the country can attest to.
It is a survival skill that allows you to interact with people from all walks of life…including criminals. Here in this video we see the champ in action….off the court.
