Please tune into Tuesday’s African-American Athlete radio show for a discussion on the state of black College sports with Florida A&M University Sports Information Director Alvin Hollins. Hollins, a graduate of Southern University, is arguably the preeminent historian of HBCU athletics, having spent more than 30 years at Florida A&M University.
Hollins has been awarded practically every honor the field of Sports Information Directors. He has seen the hey day of HBCU athletics, and the tough times. He will be sharing his thoughts with co-hosts Brian Ransom, the former Tennessee State All-American and Houston Oilers quarterback, and sports journalist Rickey Hampton, editor of The African-American Athlete page.
The African-American Athlete airs from 10-11 p.m. EST on Talk2MeSports Radio Network. (213-943-3407 to call in, or listen).
