Once again Saturday morning (1/13/18) MSNBC committed journalistic malpractice by allowing Mark Burns to appear on Joy Reid’s (AM Joy) show. Somebody, who apparently had never taken a journalism class in their life, decided it would be a good idea to interview Burns, who worked as a Trump surrogate during the campaign until he was caught lying damn near every time he opened his mouth.
This actually speaks to a larger problem, that I believe helped get Trump elected.
There was no accountability for people making false statements during the campaign. That must change. If a surrogate, or spokesperson, doesn’t speak factually about clearly defined subject matters that are known to be true, they shouldn’t be brought back.
Three strikes and you are barred. Let the livelihood of these surrogates be attached to their ability to establish and maintain faith with the audience they endeavor to persuade
MSNBC owes its viewers an apology for allowing Mark Burns, the fake Kappa Alpha Psi wanna be, who claimed to be a member of the fraternity, but he isn’t. Click the video link to see Burns busted by CNN.
