Apparently, lying is contagious if you work with the racist who lives in the White House.
Consider what occurred Thursday when John Kelly, the White House chief of staff, and the racist in chief’s right hand man, came out and lied his ass off about Congresswoman Fredricka Wilson.
Wilson was the mentor of the late Sgt La David Johnson, who along with three other servicemen, died in a firefight in Niger. Wilson, and the family of Sgt. Johnson criticized the racist president for his lack of sympathy in what was supposed to be a call of condolence to Johnson’s wife.
Of course, the narcissistic racist president, who has no ability to show humility, or express empathy, failed miserably. To his credit, Kelly knew his boss was incapable of making such a call and suggested that he not do it. Of course, the ignorant racist made the call anyway, because as a part of his sickness, he thinks he is perfect, and can do anything.
But what was worse than the callous narcissist’s call, was Kelly’s lame attempt to defend the incompetence, and lack of decency, that define his boss.
Kelly tried to shift the blame on Wilson, for happening to be in the vehicle when the call was placed on a speaker phone. In his attempt to impugn Wilson, Kelly shattered a reputation he spent a lifetime building, and violated the very oath of service that has to date shielded him.
Kelly lied about a speech that Wilson made in 2015 at the dedication of an FBI building in Florida. Kelly, who claimed to have attended this speech personally, had claimed to have witnessed a malfeasance. These statements are at the heart of Kelly’s lie:
“And a congresswoman stood up, and in the long tradition of empty barrels making the most noise, stood up there and all of that and talked about how she was instrumental in getting the funding for that building, and how she took care of her constituents because she got the money, and she just called up President Obama, and on that phone call he gave the money—the $20 million—to build the building. And she sat down, and we were stunned. Stunned that she had done it. Even for someone that is that empty a barrel, we were stunned.”
All of that was a lie. An utter, ball-faced, lie. It was a contemptuous, lie.
A video of the speech Wilson gave refutes every lie Kelly said about her. The truth of the matter is Wilson’s speech was just the opposite. It was filled with platitudes for both democrats and republicans alike. It honored the two FBI agents that the building was named after, and saluted law enforcement agencies throughout the nation, asking those present to stand and be recognized as a special group.
However, even far more disgusting is although the White House now knows this is a lie, the people there refuse to apologize. They further embellished to cover Kelly’s lies.
But I guess this is what works for them considering the racist lied his way to the White House. The total incompetency the White House has shown handling this issue speaks to the just how unfit the racist president is. They have apparently accumulated a group of employees incapable of standing up to the racist, instead dragging themselves down to his level.
Consider, Kelly took the job as chief of staff with an incomparable reputation. A four-star general, and a Gold Star father.
But apparently, just being near the miserable racist has taken him down into the gutter. Simple research (or a contrite admission of error) would have solved this issue.
And, by the way, if Kelly’s boss had not invoked his name, and bringing up the tragic death of his son who he lost in war, none of this would have happened. But the narcissistic racist couldn’t resist another shot at President Obama, the man he lied on about his birthplace for years.
Kelly is now a hypocritical liar. He donned a self righteous, pious attitude to talk about how “stunned” he was regarding actions of Wilson he invented for political fodder. He claimed to relish the sanctity of womanhood, all while he attacked a woman using a lie he made up about her, and while he works for a man who brags of grabbing women by their vaginas, and walking in on teen aged girls while they dress.
He claimed that Wilson violated the privacy of a conversation already rendered far less than private by his very presence as a witness to the conversation, along with the “others” the racist claimed to be in the room. Kelly claimed to believe that the death of those in services should be regarded with dignity, while despicably trashing that dignity in the case of these four men in lieu of political positioning.
However, the real true life indecencies from his boss, such as racism, misogyny, sexual assault, mocking the handicapped, and the sheer stupidity and unfitness of the man for the position of president, are endorsed and enabled by Kelly’s presence in his position in the White House.
So again, John Kelly entered the White House as a retired four-star general with an immaculate reputation. Presently we do not have enough evidence to decide whether he has been lowered to the standards of this White House, or we are just learning of preexisting character flaws that attracted the liar-in-chief to hire him.
Regardless, we now come to find out he is a liar, just like the man he works for. In fact, in many ways he is even worse. Having served in a military that so profoundly stresses truth and honor we are clear that he should know better. How in the name of goodness and truth can Kelly advise a psychologically impaired leader, when Kelly could not curtail his own ugly instinct to lie and attack?
Is anyone really at the wheel in this White House? No wonder America seems rudderless.
