Greetings! As the Editor and Founder of TheAfricanAmericanAthlete.com, I would like to wish you a prosperous 2018, and thank you for your support in 2017.
In just two years, TheAfricanAmericanAthlete.com has grown from having only a few hundred readers, to almost 6 million readers in 2017. In addition, more than 40,000 of you have ‘liked’ us on The African-American Athlete Facebook page @AfAmAth.
It is clear that so many of you believe in our mission to celebrate the accomplishments of black athletes in and out of the arena, as well as discuss issues of the black community and society.
In 2018 we will continue to bring you more stories and commentary about the black experience and issues that are important to our community.
