Former NBA veteran John Battle and Dematha High School standout Larry Nader were guests on the latest edition of ‘In And Out Of Sports’ hosted by D.C. talk show legend Butch McAdams.
Battle talked about how he went from being a lightly regarded high school player in his hometown of Washington, D.C.., to a 10-year NBA veteran. Battle was drafted in the fourth-round of the 1985 draft out of Rutgers.
In the second hour, Nader, a DMV-based contractor and, realtor talked about growing up on D.C.’s playgrounds and how his time playing football and basketball at DeMatha helped teach him valuable life lessons.
