Jaren Jackson Sr., a veteran of 13 seasons in the NBA, and a member of the 1998-99 NBA champion San Antonio Spurs was a guest on ‘Derrick Gervin’s As Good As It Gets’ podcast, hosted by the former New Jersey Nets forward, who is the younger brother of Hall of Famer George ‘Iceman’ Gervin.
Jackson discussed his career at Georgetown playing for the great John Thompson, growing up in New Orleans, and the work it took for him to go from being an undrafted free agent, to playing 13 years in the NBA. Jackson also talked about his son, Jaren Jr., who was the No. 6 overall pick in the 2018 NBA draft by Memphis.
