So glad to see that Penny Hardaway is the Memphis Tigers’ new basketball coach. He was a fabulous player during his career at Memphis State University (1991-93), and 14-years in the NBA.
However, Hardaway’s character as a man far overshadows his accomplishments as a player.
The 46-year-old is a quality quite simply a great person. He is the kind of coach that will be totally invested in his players well being on and off the floor, the program, and the Memphis community. Hardaway has an opportunity to be a great college basketball coach.
