Hi, this is Rickey Hampton Sr., founder and editor of The African-American Athlete. I am also a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi, fraternity. And as we celebrate the 105th anniversary of this great clan (Jan. 5th, 1911), I have to share a great piece that appears in the Shadow League wesbsite, that counts down the 12 greatest Kappa Alpha Psi basketball players.
Of course, Kappa-men have achieved in all walks of life, since its founding on January 5, 1911, at Indiana University. Other Kappa men include the great Oscar Robertson, and Penny Hardaway, whose career was cut short by injuries. The story is linked below, as well as a highlight of Hardaway, and a wonderful story about Hardaway coaching a group of middle schoolers, which was produced by ESPN.
