Golf legend Tiger Woods was arrested early today for suspicion of a DUI in his home of Jupiter, Fla. Woods was stopped around 3:30 a.m. this morning. He was arrested and taken to the local jail in Jupiter, where he was booked and released on his own recognizance after a few hours.
Woods, 41, is regarded as the greatest player of this generations, and is second in major victories (14), only trailing Jack Nicklaus. Woods’ golf career has been on hold the past two seasons because of a series of back surgeries. He said just last week that his recent surgery has him feeling better than he has in years, and was hoping to return to competitive golf at some point.
